At Aspire Strength, we believe every athlete’s story is unique and full of potential waiting to be unlocked. When Emily reached out to us after her challenging debut at the Copenhagen marathon, her determination and grit immediately resonated with our team. Having experienced a rough race where maintaining pace was a struggle, Emily was eager to understand her body better and develop a more effective training strategy. After a thorough conversation and a quick review of her recent blood work, we partnered with her to design a bespoke 8-week training programme leading up to the London Marathon. Our integrated approach, which combined a tailored running plan, a personalised nutrition plan via the Hexis app, and a 3-day Gym plan that targeted strength training, was custom-made to help her overcome her setbacks and truly excel.
Emily’s Experience and Testimony
Hi, I’m Emily, and I’d like to share how Aspire Strength transformed my approach to training and racing. Before teaming up with Aspire Strength, I struggled to maintain a consistent pace during my marathons, and I often felt overwhelmed by the physical and mental demands of running. My journey with Aspire Strength began when I realised I needed to understand my body better. I got my blood work done, which was an eye-opener; it highlighted areas where I could optimise my nutrition and adjust my habits for improved performance.
The training programme provided by Aspire Strength was a turning point. Their running plan, perfectly organised through the Runna app, made it simple to keep track of my progress and adjust my workouts. Coupled with a strength training regimen that kept me injury-free, I gradually built a stronger, more resilient body on the Fitr App. The nutrition plan we discussed was great; it was very flexible, and the meals were easy to make. It became a cornerstone of my training; I could add runs on the app. It would then let me know how to fuel for each run and ensure I had the energy to push further each day on the Hexis App, and all this was monitored by Aspire Strength, too.
The results were incredible. Throughout the programme, I shaved a remarkable 6 minutes off my half-marathon time. Every improvement felt like a real victory, confirming that investing time in understanding my body and refining my habits was truly worth it. With Aspire Strength’s expert guidance, I not only achieved a personal best but also rediscovered my passion for running. Now, as I stand at the starting line of the London Marathon, I feel prepared, confident, and excited for what lies ahead.
